What is ‘Focused Area’ Coaching?
In order to ‘Do What Matters Most’ it is important to have clarity and be effective in 3 areas:
‘Your Call’
What you believe your calling / purpose is in life. If you are not clear on the direction you are heading or your end goal, it becomes very difficult to decide which activities to undertake.
‘Your Care’
How you look after yourself and who you surround yourself with is critical to your effectiveness. Getting the right rhythms in place, maximizing your rest and prioritizing the right relationships is crucial in doing what matters most.
‘Your Creativity’
How well you utilise your skills, gifts & energy to achieve your goals, whatever role or responsibilities you have. Ultimately if you do not deploy the resources at your disposal effectively you are going to struggle to maximise your creative potential and do what matters most.
My ‘focused area’ coaching takes you on a learning journey through one, two or all of these areas in order to help you gain clarity and focus. It takes you beyond ‘simple insight’ so you can take action that leads to meaningful & sustainable change. Ultimately leading you to do what matters most.

How does it work?
Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation email with your workbook which will contain all the information you need and the process we will follow, which looks something like this:
Observe & Reflect
You will be provided with a unique worksheet for you to review and work through. This specially designed framework will ask you a series of questions to help you observe & reflect on your current situation. Before we can make changes we need to fully understand where we are and who we are.
Discuss
During this phase we will have a 60 minute online call during which we talk through the worksheet you have completed to dig deeper, refine and unearth key insights for you from which we can build a plan of action. Discussion is important as it gives you an outside, objective viewpoint of your situation that can often be clouded by our individual bias and situations.
Plan & Account
During this phase we will have a further 60 minute online coaching session where we will aim to take the key learnings from the previous phases and develop a plan of action for you to embed into your life, that will hopefully lead on a journey to overcome some of the challenges you were facing & ultimately to doing what matters most.
We will also agree some accountability measures to put in place.
Act
In this final phase we will work to make sure you push through and implement the agreed plan. The frequency and timing of interactions will depend a little on the plan of action agreed, but you will receive regular reminders & prompts to help you along with a 30 minute review call to see how you are doing and assess whether some adjustments are required.
During this review call we also assess whether you would benefit from further coaching investment.

FAQs
When do the coaching sessions take place?
Standard sessions take place usually on Mondays & Wednesdays. Other days may be possible, please contact me to see what is feasible.
What times do the coaching sessions take place?
Standard Sessions times are available from 0800-1500 on Mondays & Wednesdays. They are also available 1930-2100 on selected evenings. Other times may be possible, please contact me to see what is feasible.
Are coaching sessions online or in person?
The assumed starting point is to have online sessions. Coaching in person is available, depending on the proximity of the client to myself. Additional travel costs may be incurred also. Please contact me if you would like in person coaching.
Do you work with people not based in the UK?
Yes, I work with people from all over the world and I have availability to meet in most timezones.
What is coaching?
Coaching is a flexible and collaborative process, with the aim of helping you find the answers and solutions from within yourself. Coaching is about supporting you and asking you the right questions so you come to conclusions yourself about what action is required.
Coaching is non-therapeutic, and is focused on aspects like performance improvement, increased fruitfulness in life, achieving a better work / life balance.
Mentoring & consulting involves coaching, but the mentor / consultant will also offer solutions and suggestions to solve the problems or barriers a person is facing.
I offer coaching, mentoring and consultancy, but not therapy and professional mental health & medical care.
