Overcome Frustration - Ask yourself what you are Thankful for!

It can be so easy for us too ‘be’ negative about ourselves, our situations and see our cup as 'half' empty. This can spiral as thought after thought builds up.⠀

As an enneagram one (an improver) I am constantly seeing how I can do better and as a result can be a little hard on myself and negative. However the daily practise of asking myself 'what am I thankful for?' provides perspective and stops the ‘spiral’ downwards, as I consider what I have, not what I am missing.⠀

Why not? At the end of today, grab a piece of paper or type in the notes on your phone, 3 things that you are thankful for. It may not come easy, so persevere and press in.⠀
