3 suggestions to help you endure and keep going…

Endurance is not the most exciting or spirit raising word, but fruitfulness requires endurance, the ability to keep going and overcome difficult and challenging barriers or situations is crucial.

Unfortunately there is no shortcut to building endurance, for example, most people cannot just roll out of bed and run a marathon, it takes months of preparation and endurance training to get in condition.

Since being diagnosed with Chronic fatigue 14+ years ago, I have not been able to run any real distance without needing the rest of the day to recover. Yet a few weeks back I had a breakthrough, I was able to run for 2 mins, with no real negative effects, a marathon level change for me.

As I look back 3 things have helped me endure...

Head up: I kept looking up at what’s ahead, focused on the goal.

Helping hands: I have had people around me that could pick me up and dust me off when I had a set back.

Lighter Load: The more you are carrying in life (imagine you have a heavy backpack), the harder it is to push yourself back up when you fall. So I decided not to carry so much.
